Peter McAtamney | Principal
Peter founded WBS in 2003. WBS now has clients across
Australia,
New Zealand and
South Africa and he has board positions with three Australian and two South African wine companies.
Peter has held top wine industry positions including Managing Director of a publicly listed wine company and Chairman of Wine Marlborough. He has also been a member of the National Marketing Group for the NZ Wine Industry.
He has helped formulate global strategy for some of the worlds most successful wine brands including Freixenet and Wine Marlborough. More recently he was involved with global strategy for the [yellow tail] brand.
He has over 20 years sales and marketing experience including 11 years managing global markets.
For eight and a half years, Peter worked for the world’s largest producer of sparkling wine and 9th largest wine company, Freixenet. Peter was responsible for their global Business Intelligence System and Strategic Planning functions, which included writing their Global Strategic Plan for their table wine business. He also worked in mergers and acquisitions with Freixenet, including the purchase of the Wingara Group in
Australia (Katnook, Deacon Estate etc).
Peter is a highly experienced communicator. He is a top ranked university lecturer at MBA level and has taught Strategy, Marketing, Sales Management, Services Marketing and Business Culture. He also runs the Turnaround Management education program for the TMA Australia

Paul Vorbach | Associate
Paul has held senior executive positions including Director and Vice President of Citibank subsidiaries. Prior to this Paul worked as a Senior Manager for Deloitte, the US accounting and consulting partnership.
He has a strong background in financial management and training in the corporate sector. He has conducted training for 17 of the Global 500 top corporations and several government organisations.
Paul has launched and successfully run two starts up businesses. His current firm, Academy Global Pty Limited was established in 2002 and now conducts assignments throughout Australia, Asia and the mid east.
Paul has held an interest in business education since completing his MBA in 1995, when he established the UTS Business Network. His career change from banking to executive education in 2002 commenced with an academic appointment at the Graduate School of Business and Academic Board position at the Australian Institute of Management.
Paul has written and delivered four of the UTS’ Executive Development Units management courses. Since 2004, Paul has been writing and conducting training programs for clients throughout Asia pacific. These clients have included Bayer AG, DHL Express, Marcusevans group and knowledge group.
